The sepal was textured with sandpaper and a hammer, and the stem was cut from a few millimeters of wire and textured with striations to give it a realistic appearance. The sepal and stem were then domed and soldered to the back of the flower (also domed), and a bale of round wire invisible from the front accepts the chain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"843\" height=\"910\" src=\"http:\/\/www.silverdimensions.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/pendant-sunflower-back.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-336\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.silverdimensions.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/pendant-sunflower-back.jpg 843w, https:\/\/www.silverdimensions.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/pendant-sunflower-back-278x300.jpg 278w, https:\/\/www.silverdimensions.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/pendant-sunflower-back-768x829.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 767px) 89vw, (max-width: 1000px) 54vw, (max-width: 1071px) 543px, 580px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Sterling silver <strong>Sunflower pendant<\/strong> with yellow CZ, front<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The granules and prong elements on the front of the flower were soldered on last while the flower rested in a depression on the charcoal block.
